Honored that you folks voted Modern Settler #1 Regional Album of 2015 on Wyoming Public Radio! A huge thanks to WPR deejays for believing in this album. And to the listeners who voted, this is simply Fuel for Songs. A record number of albums were released both in Jackson Hole and in Wyoming, and that makes us proud. Good times on Daytime TV today in Bowling Green, KY. Set: Interview -> Zemurray -> Poor Elijah/Tribute to Johnson. Here’s a link to the replay on WBKO-TV. Drifter Sessions parade on!
Screen Door Porch was asked to be a part of Wyoming Tourism’s 2016 ad campaigns, including a national commercial, interviews, a music video, and a profile of the band. We were on a set a few days this past week and had a hell of a time with film crews Sherpas Cinema (from Whistler, BC) and our own Teton Gravity Research. All of the crew and people involved were incredible and we can’t wait to see the finished product in March 2016. Even Scout the roadie dog had plenty of cameos. Here’s a peak from the set. #wynot
High fives to videographer Christie Quinn, who helped film and edit this “Wicked Ways” video. It was shot at Dornan’s in Moose, Wyo. and in downtown Jackson, and it completes a year-long filming project (5 of 5). To view all five videos, check out the fancy SDP YouTube Channel. Enjoy!
