Spring Tour and More
Spring me right, spring me do, new album and tour straight to you.If ever is the time to spread the word, inspire your base to stray from the pace. We’ll lead you astray in the truest of ways, the Porch is but a few steps away...BANG! We’ve spent months, even years, loading meticulous rounds and waiting for the perfect moment to fire the cannon. The Fate & The Fruit grows wings in the coming days, wider than Anthony Davis, yet humbly and mysterious as Bonnie Prince Billy. For some of you (Kickstarter supporters kick-ass!), it has already made waves in your ears. Others, we are bringing it straight to your town via radio, a concert, even a street busk or two. If you want to hop aboard the train, PRE-ORDER the album now and it’ll be at your doorstep faster than you can change your mind. Hmmm…
RADIO is still alive, believe it
Our album was added to radio stations across the country this month, from Oregon to Vermont! We are thankful to the early response from these stations and to our team at Pete Knapp & Co. for pushing the movement. There are over 100 stations dedicated to supporting Americana music in the U.S., and more than likely, there’s one within range of your transistor. If not, get on that there Internet and stream a good one. To find your local Americana station, peruse this helpful list and give them a jingle. Also, word just came in that The Fate & The Fruit is now streaming on Pandora! Head on over to the Screen Door Porch Pandora station to listen to tracks from the new and the debut albums.
SPRING TOUR: 17 Shows through the Northwest and Southeast
As many of you know, we have been performing as both a Duo and a Quartet for the last couple of years. It’s with great pride that some of you will see us for the first time with the killer rhythm section of Tom Davidson (fretless bass) and Andy Peterson (drums, vocals) on our Spring Tour. Yes, they play as well as they ski, and we’ve really evolved as a unit.It would be handy to have a major gas company sponsor us with some of its billions about now, but we’re driving coast-to-coast anyway. In the spirit of a good time, of course. To offset some of this overhead, we’re reaching out for places to crash (ahem, accommodations) in these areas: Boise, Moscow, Missoula, and Livingston. As per The South’s hospitality, you guys already have us covered, thanks! Most importantly, though, is your word of mouth. Help us out by using this Facebook event to invite your batch of friends to the shows. If you're not a Facebooker, you can direct music lovers to our newly designed webpage (courtesy S.Rose Design) at ScreenDoorPorch.com.
